Summer Student – Activity Worker/Support Mentor

Job Description:

The Summer Activity Worker / Peer Support Mentor will plan and facilitate a variety of engaging daily activities for participants, guided by the Medicine Wheel framework. The role involves assisting with drop-in programming, supporting meal preparation, and helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Summer Activity Worker will also be responsible for developing and implementing a summer activity calendar, collaborating with other staff members. This includes organizing and participating in community outings such as Goldeyes games, movies, the Manitoba Museum, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, as well as facilitating crafts and other recreational activities.

We are working with Canada Summer Jobs! We are helping youth aged 18 to 30 gain paid summer work experience and develop skills for the job market.

Hourly Wage: $16.00-$19.00
