Qualifications: Post-secondary school in social work, social justice, Indigenous studies, addictions, health related and/or a combination of pertinent experiences in these areas. Experiences with cultural activities and understanding of Indigenous concepts of care and support. Knowledge of disabilities, disorders and mental health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) for participants
- Support daily drop-in operations and create a welcoming environment
- Assist staff and participants to ensure program needs are met
- Coordinate participant check-in and entry to the drop in
- Support the Walking Stick program
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Coordinator/Assistant Coordinator

Other Helpful Qualifications: NVCI, First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Knowledge of Vulnerable Persons Act, FASD Training
