Wage: $20-23 /hour
Oshki-Giizhig is an Indigenous-based non-profit organization. Our vision is a healthy community built on Indigenous journeys towards wellness. Our mission is to walk beside, advocate and support people living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and or other disorders. Strengthened by cultural practices and traditional teachings, supports will assist in restoring balance to individuals and the community affected by trauma and violence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting staff and managers well being, in terms of conflicts, stressors, and workplace policies. They will aid with development, health and safety and the consistent application of collective agreements at Oshki-Giizhig. They will help create and maintain the positive relationship between employees and the work environment. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Post-secondary degree in human resources, conflict management and/or a combination of pertinent experiences in these areas. Experience in de escalation and employee relations preferred. Experiences with cultural activities and understanding of Indigenous concepts of care and support. Knowledge of disabilities, disorders and mental health issues. Driver’s Licence and access to transportation.
